ALL ABOARD!: Agyina Perbi’s First ‘Solo’ Missionary Journey aboard the Logos Hope

So proud of this young man, our eldest son Nana Agyina Baah Perbi, as he takes three months off to serve God by serving humanity aboard the Logos Hope Ship, the world’s largest floating bookstore, before heading off to university in the winter, Deo volente.
According to Nana Agyina, whose name means God’s Purpose, “The first time I went on the Logos Hope Ship last year with Grandpa Perbi while it was docked at Tema [photo above], I was so inspired i sent a message to my parents that I would love to serve on it.” One would say, his voracious appetite for reading and rich family history of not just saving faith but serving faith have found convergence in this ship’s mission.
Last week, his dream came true and he was accepted onboard the ship for their 3-month STEP program for short term missionaries (October 11, 2025 to january 16, 2026). He’s finished taking his outstanding vaccination shots and rounding up his driving lessons. God willing, he’ll be leaving soon for Nassau, Bahamas where the ship is currently docked.
His mission aboard will not only take him to the Bahamas (Oct 10-19), but also to the British Virgin Islands (Oct 24-28), Saint Kitts and Nevis (Oct 29-Nov 4), Antigua and Barbuda (Nov 4-8), Grenada (Nov 20-Dec 2), Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (Dec 3-9), Trinidad & Tobago (Dec 11-Jan 17).
Says the young man, “This trip is a $3,658.13 investment and I’m counting on family, friends and my church community to be able to raise the total amount to make my first ‘solo’ missionary journey a reality, to the glory of God.”
Agyina launched his financial campaign barely 24 hours ago and has already raised more than half of his budget. hallelujah!
